Africa Underground (AU) Productions is a love laced, intersectional, US based production company with a passion for creating transformative live events, podcasts and cinematic creations for online, television and film that showcase the African diaspora. The productions are meant to be inclusive but center global African culture and identity. 

Global citizen and native New Yorker Agunda Okeyo executive produces & hosts an AU Productions podcast called Love Party. Beginning in December 2023, Okeyo hosts the bi-monthly conversation about love. The mission of the podcast is to expand, explore and challenge our understanding of love as citizens of the world.

Agunda Okeyo is a writer, producer and alchemist born in Nairobi and raised between New York City and the Kenyan capital. Okeyo understands and writes from a global perspective about race, gender, politics, culture, books, film, and comedy. She is published in outlets such as Salon, The Daily Beast, Women and Hollywood, For Harriet, O Magazine, OkayAfrica, The Progressive, NBC and Women’s Media Center (WMC).
